Our charming casita with sleeping loft is located only 10 minutes walking distance and 2 minutes by car to the breathtakingly beautiful Cahuita National Park and the village of Cahuita. The casita, which sleeps four, comes with a well equipped kitchen including microwave, toaster oven, 3 burner hotplate, refrigerator, coffee maker and private bathroom with hot water shower. Steps from the casita’s

front porch is a rancho with hammocks where you can relax and watch the playful visits of the Howler and Congo Monkeys. Also on the property is a playground fand trampoline or your children to enjoy. The property is quiet and private, but still walking distance to the village of Cahuita where you will find not only the beautiful Cahuita National Park, but restaurants, bakeries, cafes, boutiques, food markets and a Farmer’s Market (Sundays), Banco de Costa Rica and a Pharmacy. Cahuita National Park has a 4km trail to the other side of the park in Puerto Vargas. The Park is home to Capuchin and Howler monkeys, sloths, snakes, raccoons, iguanas and bountiful flora. All along the trail is a pristine white sand beach which is easily accessible from most of the trail to take a refreshing swim. We can also arrange any tour you would like to learn about the local culture or beyond. Tours include; Indigenous Reserves, Tortuguero, Bocas del Toro Islands, snorkeling, Chocolate House, fishing and more.
