What a amazing 2 days in Bocas del Toro with this beautiful familly! Pura vida

What an incredible find today on Bastimentos Island, Bocas del Toro! 🐸🌿

We were very lucky to spot this tiny strawberry poison dart frog (Oophaga pumilio), one of the most iconic little residents of the Caribbean rainforest.

The famous red frog of Bastimentos is barely bigger than a thumbnail, so finding one in the wild takes patience and a good eye. Despite its tiny size and beautiful bright colors, it belongs to the poison dart frog family. Its striking coloration serves as a warning to potential predators.

Experiences like this are exactly why exploring the wilder side of Bocas del Toro is so special. You never know what might be hiding beneath the next leaf. 🌴🐸
