This video taken by companion and guide Jorge Leiton in the Corcovado National Park, shows how a herd of coatis take advantage of numerical power to subdue one of their main predators, this huge Boa almost loses its life trying to hunt one of them, Coatis usually live in matriarchal societies of up to 50 individuals. The video shows us how often predators can lose their life in their need for food. NOTE the boa survived but with several injuries.

The mama turtles started arriving this morning for the November arribada! We’re heading out on Tuesday, November 18 (early-morning tour so we can take photos, night tours don’t allow it).

We have our amazing Rio Celeste and Sloth Rainforest tour available this Wednesday, April 23rd We'll pick you up at your location and head to Tenorio National Park where we'll hike to the stunningly beautiful Celeste waterfall. After the hike we will stop for lunch at a great local soda and then head to the rainforest where you'll get to experience seeing sloths in the wild along with much more!
