I moved to Costa Rica to slow down…and somehow still ended up turning my life into a grind.

I’ve been trying to rewire myself to believe that growth doesn't need to be all our nothing.

Instead, I’m trying to live by a phrase people say around here: “Poco a poco.” ( little by little ).

What’s something you realized you were forcing just because you thought that's what success looked like?

Most people come for the waterfalls…
but this is the kind of stuff I get distracted by out here

I tried to help it back into the tree and accidentally discovered it's favorite snack 😅

Now it’s just… living there

Sturdy sandals or aqua socks work best.

Aqua socks are great because they’re fully closed and handle water well.

Sneakers and boots are fine until you hit water. Flip flops aren’t ideal.

The little guy had energy!

I love the Praying mantis...they seem so intelligent the way they lock on you with those big eyes.

We kept going...still not a normal hike.

Most shoes just don't work out here.

These boots do: cheap, easy to find in any hardware store such as the local Cadesur or Vetcomer.

Not a tour day, just how we get around out here. I'll break down what to wear for the tour later this week.
