Our first tour is starting tomorrow at the mangroves of Matapalo. As we will be taking many photos and videos for our marketing team, any instagram followers here are welcome to join us for $20. One of our favourite paddles is the mangroves up in Matapalo. The flat water makes for a very relaxing paddle in amongst some very interesting flora. Frequently seen are monkeys crossing the canopy, crabs, too many birds to count as well as fish, turtles and if you’re really lucky, a croc, don’t worry, they’re of no threat to the kayaks.

On occasion things move quickly down in Costa Rica. Tuesday i made the decision to get my business moved down here and offer some tours, by Thursday a kayak trailer was complete, by Friday we were on the water getting the kayaks their first taste of salt water and boy was it fun! Excited to have join me in helping me grow Pura Vida Paddling in my favourite part of the world.
