We love those sunset tours in the mangroves. It is the best way to pass the afternoon. Watching the wildlife get ready for dark and feeling the temps drop. Cool breezes flow and the colors become magical. Can’t get any better than this!

Nos encantan los paseos al atardecer por los manglares. Es la mejor manera de pasar la tarde. Observar cómo la fauna se prepara para la oscuridad y sentir cómo baja la temperatura. La brisa fresca hace que los colores se vuelvan mágicos. ¡No hay nada mejor!

Where can you find us every day? Enjoying a slow paddle into the mangrove forest.

Also, watching our resident juvenile Little Blue Heron grow up and molt feathers before our eyes.
(Did you know? Little Blue Herons are born white and stay white for the first year of life? Then, they gradually molt to the beautiful blue and purple feathers of adulthood. Our little baby is growing up!)

The 2026 ocean kayak season came and went, way too fast!
The big wave swells are here for the next few months (great for surfers, bad for us). So we will focus on the mangroves until December.

And we get to paddle through the estuaries of the mangrove daily. We get to watch how full of life this ecosystem is. It’s pretty incredible. Come check it out!
