Is there anywhere else in the world where you can frequently hang out with a mom and baby tapir as they munch on palm seeds while watching the sunset over the ocean?

The only place we've experienced it is at the Jaguar's Jungle Lodge. The property is situated right next to Corcovado, buffered from town by a massive Biological reserve, so we get moments like this all to ourselves on the regular.

Its currently mango season and we have THREE tapir families roaming around taking advantage of the mango feasts spewing from our old mango trees. One of the families has a newborn with spots!

If your goal in life is to see tapirs, now is the time to jump on the opportunity!

The only place in the world you can frequently spend quality time with the endangered Bairds Tapir. This mom and baby are regulars for happy hour/dinner.

(We do not feed wildlife at the Jaguars Jungle. Here the tapirs are seen munching on seeds from their favorite palm.)

Why are our secluded Beaches the best in Costa Rica?
They're boat access only, in other words, not accesibles to the general public. You won't have to worry about turning your head on your belongings on our beaches. You'll likely be welcome by scarlet macaws flying over your head or a tapir strolling across the beach! Each of our 3 beaches are unique. One has a swing, another has a waterfall and sea caves. You can see Cano Island from all of them and often you'll see a breaching humpback whale!
