Someone asked us to describe the perfect day in Costa Rica and we can think of so many amazing ways to spend a day while you're visiting, but here's just one that we love to do! What does your perfect day look like?
We kick off with a day with trip to Tenorio National Park to see the stunning Celeste Waterfall 💙— The hike through the rain forest is magical and the water is actually that bright turquoise and just as vibrant in real life as it is in photos. On a guided nature walk we were thrilled to see many sloths, monkeys, birds, frogs and even a Tapir!
🌊 Returning to Coco we stop off at Playa Ocotal for a swim. The black sand and gentle surf are perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
Next head back to the vacation villa to get changed and ready for dinner. At Emerald, we have many incredible rentals available including the beautiful Villa Vista Ventosa featured in this post. Super clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, this 3 bed 3.5 bath is perched on the hills over looking Coco Beach. The entire home features stunning views but there's nothing like floating in the infinity pool under the stars at night. The location is perfect—close to the beach, shops, and restaurants, but tucked away enough to feel relaxing and private. And of course as your hosts we make sure every little detail is perfect. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
On the way to dinner we wander down main street and browse the shops for unique and interesting things — there are so many cute local boutiques, cafes, and souvenirs.
🍤For dinner we visit one of our favorite restaurants, Mar Azul. They never disappoint, with awesome cocktails, fresh seafood, an incredible chef and the best service.
And finally, end the evening with some cocktails by the pool. So, what does your perfect day look like?
