Where to travel in 2021?
After a 2020 full of particularities and that made us appreciate the sense of freedom as we never imagined it, but that at the same time also taught us to appreciate the closeness of our loved ones, family and friends just a click away and together relive the Memories of unforgettable experiences or vacations, memories that motivate us to plan our next trip, to revive our adventurous instinct, longing for the sound of the sea, the magnificent bouquet of aromas of a candlelight dinner, the soft caress of the wind when crossing exuberant trails and promising to rediscover new destinations inside and outside our borders.
But how motivated are we and how safe is it to travel during and after crisis?
A survey carried out among European travelers shows that almost 80% of those surveyed were willing to travel in the short term (immediately, and some others from August or October) locally and internationally. We discovered that part of this motivation and desire to travel is due to the following:
Safe destinations through the use of technology
Automate processes that previously had to be done manually, such as remote check-ins, preservation and access to online restaurant menus, digital purchase of tickets, pre-checks, etc. potentiating all the services and digital platforms available to travelers.
A more flexible cancellation policy
It is normal that due to our “new reality”, our clients and travelers in general feel safe to book and plan their new travel experience, knowing that as part of our guarantees and that of our suppliers, they have the flexibility to modify, postpone or cancel reservations based on the dynamism that characterizes this crisis, in addition to travel insurance that covers any last minute inconvenience.
A conscience of solidarity and retribution to others and the environment.
Undoubtedly COVID-19 came to modify most economic activities and definitely to teach us how to do tourism again, since our old habits as travelers had social and environmental consequences, however this crisis definitely and abruptly aroused a sense of responsibility, more sensitive and receptive travelers and tourism willing to give back and to include within their itineraries destinations and activities that share these values as part of a unique and enriching travel experience.
This is how we want to start and inspire our clients and friends by sharing our Bliss - Authentic - Enivrant experiences and recommendations each week.
See you soon!
