ATV is an activity you must not skip when visiting Jaco. You can choose to be a driver or sit at the back as passenger. But being a driver is much exciting. There are a few operators in downtown of Jaco. The rate is pretty much the same for all operators. The duration of the tours are 2hrs, 3hrs and 4hrs typically. We got a discount by paying cash($85 USD per person for 4 hours, normally $110+tax). One interesting thing about Costa Rica is all mountains are connected by trails. You can really have fun driving on it. It was unfortunate it rained the day before and halfway into our tour (the reason of the muddy water running down the mountain, otherwise would be clear water). But we still had a blast….
