After hearing all the miracles Hashem made for the bene Israel, Yitro, Moshe's father in law, brings Tsiporah and Moshe's two sons, Gershom and Eliezer, to meet with Moshe in the desert. He advises Moshe to set up a hierarchical system of chiefs (of thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens) to help him judge the people.

The bene Israel camp in the desert of Sinai. On the 6th of Sivan, 7 weeks after the Exodus (Pessah), all the nation gathered at foot of mount Sinai.
Hashem "descends" on the mountain in a display of lightning, thunder, clouds and the sound of the shofar getting louder and louder, and asks for Moshe and Aharon to climb up the mountain, while the rest of the people had to stay and the bottom.
Hashem, under his attribute of justice -Elokim, proclaims the Ten Commandments simultaneously. The universe kind of froze for a second: not a bird flew or sang, not a cow lowed, not an angel ascended and even the serafim held saying "kadosh".

Abraham avinu buys the cave of Ma'hpelah (aka the cave of the Patriarchs) to bury his wife Sarah, in 'Hebron. The Torah also mentions 'Hevron as Kiriat 'Arba - the city of the four - in reference to the four couples buried there: Adam & 'Hava, Abraham & Sarah, Itshak & Rivkah and Yaakov & Leah.

Abraham then sends its servant Eliezer/Og to his family in Aram Naharayim to find a decent wife for his son Itshak.
