As the story begins, it explains to you what I’m about to embark upon. This colorful journey has twists and turns it goes from luxurious to scary, from simple old world to modern. Lets just say it has a LOT of different events and aspects. I must say that this experienced was life changing.

This day for me is very different. Let me explain.

The Orchid represents who I am and connects to my mother, the Cattleya orchid has lots of meaning.

For many years I owned a flower shop, later both Flower and Chocolate shop.

Valentine’s Day was a mixture of crazy,stress,phone calls, tons of money put on the line, to have boxes upon boxes of flowers shipped to me from all over the world.

We created Hundreds of arrangements, roses, love baskets, wine,champagne, lingerie, my mothers chocolate dipped biscotti ,chocolates, and all the hand written cards! It was a whirlwind of creativity for a week.

The smells of all the fabulous blooms would take you on a journey when you walked into my store.
I’ll never forget the smell, the store was full of flowers from the entrance to the back door.

I had 13 people on my crew and two just picked up pile upon pile of stems and leaves that cluttered the floor. Your feet were green from standing and stomping in it for five or six days.
Some years Id go without sleeping for two days prior to the 14th because the orders were so many that were directed to only me that I had to fufill the demand.

My work was in demand, we did the most unusual pieces you’ve ever seen, I even collaborated with a famous pizza shop to do heart shape pizzas with roses and we had them deliver it! And to this day some 38 years later they still do my heart shape invention. I even created the mold for them.

So today when I sit with no flowers,only memories I send this bit of love ❤️ to all my friends, clients, and followers, Who may not know this about me, I send you lots of ❤️ on a day when I blessed so many.
