Tropical royal flycatcher (Onychorhynchus coronatus)

A medium-sized flycatcher of tropical forests, on this occasion we managed to see a nesting pair. This allowed us to witness one of the most important events with this bird: seeing the crest. Normally it is very difficult to see and only lasts for seconds. In this case, the female left the nest, began to preen herself, and displayed her crest for about 3 or 4 seconds. The wait was worth it.
