Good evening amigos.

Quick update:

Government has announced on August 1, Canada, EU and UK will be allowed to enter the country. More details coming soon but they will require a completed epidemiological survey, negative COVID-19 test at least 48 hours before arrival and mandatory insurance (covering health and unexpected hotel stays).

Tourists must follow all sanitary and health measures such as masks, washing hands, social distancing, etc. Beaches in Yellow Alert areas can open from 5 AM to 230 PM now and all outside open air activities are allowed.

We will keep you posted if there is any changes in the near future.

Costa Rica will announce details of its August airport reopening later this week, Health Minister Daniel Salas said. "We are going to maintain the August 1 date," Health Minister Daniel Salas said Monday, indicating again that the process will be gradual and won't include reopening Costa Rica's land...
