Our unique programs in Colorado and Costa Rica empower 6th-12th graders to challenge themselves in breathtaking settings, forge lasting friendships, and develop the confidence to thrive in their critical teenage years. Through life-changing 2- and 5-week experiences, students unplug and immerse themselves in experiential learning, outdoor athletics, and personal mastery in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado and on Nosara Beach, Costa Rica.

"Cleaning up the beaches has had a major impact on me. I’ve also done that at my school where I’ve made my own club and we do surfing and beach clean ups. It’s taught me so much! In order to have the happiness from surfing, we need to keep our beaches clean.”

I believe that surfing is a very physically exhausting but also rewarding sport, so being able to practice that every day and develop mastery was a really exciting opportunity. Our hope for students is to fully immerse themselves in Costa Rican culture, cultivating a deeper appreciation for its people and the Pura Vida lifestyle. This experience not only enriches their understanding of the local way of life but also fosters personal growth, leading to a greater understanding of themselves.
