Casa Margarita is a unique 4000 sq ft jungle "tree house" with incredible views of the jungle and Pacific Ocean. Just two miles from the famous surf break at Playa Negra, Casa Margarita is built 30 feet above the jungle floor as a guest house and a master suite connected by a jungle walkway in the treetops. The living spaces are open to the jungle - you can sit in the living rooms and watch the howler monkeys glide past from treetop to treetop.

We are very excited about plans to preserve the open space in Pura Jungla via the creation of an "Ecological Right-of-Way". This will ensure that the 50 hectare open space between the north and south ridges of Pura Jungla will never be developed, and will continue to be a haven for the flora and fauna who have returned to the tropical dry forest since Ray Beise re-planted the finca over 30 years ago.

The neighbors in Pura Jungla who sign on to the right-of-way will become custodians of the jungle, and our properties will be so indicated in the national registry, which will enhance our home values as well as give us ownership in this magic jungle.

Thanks to everyone in Pura Jungla who have worked so hard to make this happen.
