Fishing report 05/12/12: Potrero bay is loaded with sardine ! Lot's of white seabass, jack's and barracuda ! Light tackle, little tails or shads, white, chartreuse, transparent. The bite is very early in the morning. First light. Grilled seabass and ceviche tonight !
Reporte de pesca 12/05/12: La bahia esta llena de sardina. Hay grandes cantidades de jurel, corvina y barracuda. Equipo liviano con colitas de colores blanco o transparente funcionan muy bien. El mejor pique esta muy temprano. Primera luz. Corvina de la parilla y ceviche en la noche !!!

Easter weekend 2012. After quiet some time without fishing, I went to the southern part of the Nicoya peninsula. Due to red tide fishing here is very limited at this time. Will be back next weekend.
Semana Santa 2012. Me encuentro en Malpais, en el suroeste de la peninsula de Nicoya. Tenemos marea roja muy fuerte. La pesca cerca de la orilla esta muy afectada. Comenzaron las lluvias y estamos devuelta el otro fin de semnana.

Hello to everybody ! First of all I would like to apologize for my "time out" ! Fishing was tough and I used my time on family, company and exploring. In the Potrero area we are finally moving to a new home ! I will be updating on a loose schedule twice monthly. There will be lots of new kayaks in the water. Expect great news from Potrero Bay ! My best wishes to all of you !
Hola a todos ! Antes de todo pido disculpas por mi " tiempo fuera " . La pesca no fue tan grandiosa y estuve mas tiempo con familia, negocio y exploración de un país tan lindo como Costa Rica. Cambiamos de casa en la zona de Potrero. Voy a actualizar cada 15 días (aprox). Esperan ver muchos kayak nuevo en la bahia. Habra resultados pronto. Mis mejores deseos para todos !
