The Green Honeycreeper, Chlorophanes spiza, is a small green tanager. One of the most distinctive features of this species is the slender, slightly decurved bill, which is mostly yellow. The male is a brighter, bluer green in color, with a broad black mask. Females are a duller, more uniform green. 🇨🇷

The Gray Hawk is found from the U.S. Southwest to northern Argentina and Paraguay. Habitat varies from open thorn-scrub and savanna to tropical forest edges and clearings. Throughout its range, this hawk appears to eat mostly reptiles, captured with a short, darting flight to the ground or a tree trunk. 🇨🇷

Famoso Tapir centroamericano ( Tapirus bairdii).
Esta especie prefiere los bosques tropicales húmedos, hasta los 3,600 m s. n. m. y viven siempre cerca de algún curso de agua. Es en esos ambientes donde encuentra su alimento en abundancia. Y el mamífero terrestre más grande que logramos encontrar en Costa Rica.
