I recently had the pleasure of sharing an unforgettable kayaking adventure in the beautiful mangroves of Damas, Quepos Costa Rica with professional photographer Brian Beamer.

🛶 Another unforgettable day on the water! 🛶
Today I had the pleasure of guiding a wonderful family of five through the magical mangroves of Damas. From discovering wildlife and learning about this unique ecosystem to sharing laughs and unforgettable moments along the way, it was truly a special adventure.
Thank you for choosing to explore nature with me and for bringing such positive energy to the tour. Seeing families connect with nature and create lasting memories is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

🌙🛶 Another unforgettable night in the mangroves!

Last night I had the pleasure of guiding a wonderful young couple from Mexico through the enchanting mangroves of Costa Rica. A gentle tropical rain accompanied us along the way, creating a peaceful atmosphere that made the experience even more magical.

As we paddled through the winding waterways, surrounded by the sounds of nature, we shared stories, laughter, and unforgettable moments. The evening concluded with a delicious dinner, great conversation, and the satisfaction of having experienced the mangroves in one of their most beautiful moods.

Sometimes the most memorable adventures aren't the ones with perfect weather they're the ones that connect us with nature exactly as it is.

Every forest begins with a single seedling.

These Red Mangrove propagules are being prepared for a reforestation project along a very special River, helping restore vital habitat for fish, birds, monkeys, and countless other species.

Mangroves protect our rivers and coastlines, store large amounts of carbon, improve water quality, and serve as nurseries for marine life. By planting today, we are investing in a healthier ecosystem for future generations.

One seedling at a time, we can make a difference.

Capuchin Monkey (White-Faced Monkey)

Sexual maturity: typically between 4 and 7 years of age.
First birth: usually around 6–8 years old, depending on nutrition and environmental conditions.

Gestation period: about 5 to 6 months (roughly 157–167 days).

Interbirth interval: approximately 2 years, although it can be longer if food is scarce.

Young monkeys spend years learning what foods to eat, how to find insects, how to interact socially, and how to avoid predators. This extended learning period is linked to their remarkable intelligence.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of guiding a wonderful family of six through the beautiful mangroves of Costa Rica. From the moment we launched our kayaks, there was laughter, excitement, and unforgettable moments shared with nature.

Together we explored the hidden channels of the mangroves, discovered fascinating wildlife, and learned about the amazing biodiversity that makes this ecosystem so special. Seeing the smiles on everyone's faces and their excitement throughout the tour made it a truly memorable experience.
