“Y así fue como encontramos a Beck-Wö (La estrella de David en Bri-Bri). Un macho de 175,5 cms que servirá para los estudios que realiza en Costa Rica. Esta especie de serpiente se le conoce como Matabuey o Cascabel muda (Lachesis stenophrys - Central American Bushmaster) y es la serpiente venenosa más grande de Centroamérica. Muy confiado del poder de su veneno, Beck-Wö ni se inmuto con nuestra presencia. Ahí se quedo sin moverse por más que le tomáramos algunas fotos e hiciéramos un poco de bulla. Estábamos muy alegres de encontrar esta especie en su hábitat natural y poder fotografiarlo ya que es muy difícil de observar”.
