Welcome to Costa Rica, Manuel Antonio National Park. For having a great experience you will need a Local Certified Tour Guide. Most visitors that decide to do the walk through the Park by themselves miss the opportunity to experience the best side of the Park with a Local Expert.

Here you have an example of a walk through Manuel Antonio with a guide and his equipment.

The number one question from travelers during the rainy season May-Nov.

How's is the weather between September-October? Does it rain every day the whole day? The answers to these questions are multiple, and there are dozens of blogs that will make you feel like postponing the trip.

It is certainly true that we get more rain during September-October but in the tropics, you can't really rely on the forecast, because in Costa Rica, 80% of the time rains from 5 minutes to up to 40 minutes and that’s it. The worse casenario is that you must get up early to do the activities you planned to do cuz it rains after 3-4 pm.

One last thing, I would like to say is there is nothing better than walking on the beach or the exuberant rainforest after a rain of 30 minutes. This experience is magical, birds start singing, monkeys start playing and howling, the forest turns shiny green and fuggy. Believe me, it’s not that bad as we’ve been told, it’s just a matter of planning your activities in the morning and relaxes in the afternoon, without looking at the weather app.

In Costa Rica, you might find rain at any time of the year, and the miserable weather is rare, well when we talk about bad weather are 3-4 days none stop, we don’t refer to bad weather as regular rains in the afternoon or nights that is normal through the rainy season. Don’t let the rain stop your vacation to CR, you will still have a great vacation. Exon Quesada, 11 years as Tour Guide.

We would like to remind to all future travelers that the insurance requirement that was mandatory to buy in order to enter to Costa Rica has changed since August 1st 2021 and is not mandatory anymore if you have the vaccination and a letter to proof you got the shots.

For those that have not got the vaccin yet, you must buy the travel insurance.

I leave below couple of links to check travel insurances.
According to guests experiences, buying Trawick through Insubuy is cheaper.

Trawick International or insubuy... I have seen that these ones are the most economicals.
