Today we had a wonderful morning in the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, we did hike about 3 hours where we saw Howler Monkey, Black-faced Solitaire, many Hummingbirds species, a little White-throated Spadebill and of course, we tried to find the prince of the forest, the magic Resplendent Quetzal, YES! We saw 3 individuals today! WE MADE IT!

I had the opportunity to meet these friends from Canada, Shane and his son Xavier are birders and here we were looking at the Keel-billed Toucan as one of their targets, Shane was trying to take a photo with his smartphone and the Telescope via digiscoping while Xavier tried to photograph it with his Canon.

We had a wonderful full day of photography in the North of the Caribbean, one of our targets was Gray-breasted Crake, we did not see it, however we were so excited because it was calling right next to us.

One Day Tour in Monteverde offers a great variety of flora and fauna, there are normally some "hot spots" located in the forest where we wait about 5-10 min mostly for birds and mammals. Using the Telescope we are able to have an encounter really close to the Wildlife.
We normally start at 7:30 am in Stella's Bakery as our meeting point to continue to the Clouds Forests.
