Whether it's advanced or beginner birding, herping, mammal-watching, or jungle exploration, we await you in the mega-biodiverse canton of Perez Zeledon in southern Pacific Costa Rica. Open to reservations starting Jan. 15, we offer high-quality tours to a variety of "hidden gem" sites unknown to general tourists. Most of our locations are extensive areas of primary cloud forest and foothill rainforest owned by small-scale ranchers and other landowners, who through our partnership are incentivized to maintain vast tracts of forest under permanent protection. If you are interested in high chances of seeing rare bird species like Ornate Hawk-Eagle, Flame-throated Warbler, and Resplendent Quetzal; locally endemic reptiles like Black-speckled and Side-blotched Palm-Pitviper; and the whole gamut of characteristic Costa Rican mammals like peccaries, capuchins, spider monkeys, coatis, and olingos, TBWT is the perfect addition to your Costa Rica nature experience!
