The Redcoats are set to invade Costa Rica on May 4, 2016. British Airways has announce that it will begin routes to Costa Rica next year on their 275 passenger Boeing 777. The route will be between Gatwick International (LGW) and San Jose (SJO) starting with twice a week routes on Tuesday and Saturdays during the green season May 4, - Nov. 30th, and 3 times a week during the dry season, with routes on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. They will have with returning routes back to Gatwick the same day.Now we will have routes from Madrid, Spain, Frankfort, Germany and London, U.K. Lets give our European friends a big Pura Vida welcome.

We really have some interesting creatures here. This on looks like Kermit the frog, minus the colar. The Costa Rican Amphibian Research Center recently announced the discovery of a new glass frog species, Hyalinobatrachium dianae.

The species was found on the Caribbean foothills in Costa Rica.

A photo released by the center quickly went viral on social media with users saying the frog resembled Kermit the Frog, the famous Jim Henson Muppet.

According to the center, the species joins 14 other glass frog species that are said to inhabit Costa Rica. Come see them for yourself.

Today we are doing the Cartago Countryside tour. It includes breakfast at Cafeteria Sabore. a tour of the Basilica de Los Angeles de Cartago, a tour to the top of Irazu valcan, Chruch Ruins in Ujarris, The dam and lake of Cachi, coffee plantation and La Casona de Cafetal, Lunch of the Orisi river, tour of Orosi valley, Sanchiri Lodge and Mirador and finally a stop again in Cartago at the old church Catedral Nuestra de Carmen. What a day and what a tour.

While in Jaco yesterday, I decided to stop by one of our partners and sponsors, Kokomo's for lunch. I have been there a few times but never have eaten, so I decided to try the St. Louis Style ribs that I hear people raving about. I think it was around $12.50. Man was it worth it. Fell off the bone. The fries were hot a good as well. I really don't know what the tentacles were but they were crunchy. (Don't know if you are suppose to eat them but I did) If you are in or around Jaco, please stop by and give them a try. Great food, drinks and service.
