Melissa created the perfect one-week Arenal and Guanacaste trip for my daughter's 16th birthday, and their incredible WhatsApp support made everything completely stress-free. When plans changed - from my wife breaking her foot before the trip, to my daughter getting sick, to wanting more surfing — they handled everything immediately and with genuine kindness.
Beautiful hotels, great excursions, flawless

We used Costa Rican Vacations to arrange and organize a one-week trip to Arenal and Guanacaste to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday, and the experience was absolutely incredible from beginning to end.
Melissa was amazing at tailoring the trip to exactly what my wife and daughter wanted. Then, shortly before the trip, my wife broke her foot and I needed to go in her place. Melissa took care of all the changes and made what could have been a stressful situation incredibly easy.
One thing that really impressed me was how organized everything was. We received a very clear and useful itinerary for the entire week, including a brief summary of every activity, what we needed to bring, what we should wear, transportation details, and everything else we needed to know. All of the activities, hotels, and transportation were taken care of and paid for in advance, so once we arrived, I didn't have to spend my vacation worrying about payments or constantly having my wallet with me.
The online WhatsApp Travel Experience Team is the best I've ever experienced. Nicole, Kristhel, Katherine, Ariana, and the other team members we interacted with were unbelievably kind, caring, and responsive throughout our trip. When one hotel had not updated the reservation with my name, I messaged the Travel Experience Team and they immediately contacted the hotel and got everything sorted out.
When my daughter was sick one day, they adjusted our itinerary so we could still do everything we had planned. And when she loved surfing so much that she wanted more time in the water, they helped us cancel another activity and arrange additional surfing time.
Having that level of support available throughout the trip was incredible.
Both hotels — Tamarindo Diria Beach Resort and Los
Lagos Hotel, Spa & Resort - were beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. Every excursion we did was safe, well organized, and exactly as described.
Transportation was also seamless throughout the entire trip.
What stood out most was how genuinely cared for we felt. This wasn't simply a company that booked our hotels and excursions. From Melissa planning and customizing the vacation beforehand to the Travel Experience Team supporting us while we were actually in Costa Rica, there was always someone available when we needed help or wanted to make a change.
For what was meant to be a special trip celebrating my daughter's 16th birthday, Costa Rican Vacations helped make it exactly that. I would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Costa Rica, especially if you want a vacation that is customized to what you enjoy while still having the peace of mind of knowing that someone is there to help if plans change.
We had an amazing week and would absolutely use
