Well friends Ellen and I are home from a wonderful choir tour to Costa Rica with members of Capriccio and our Grove City Chamber Choir friends and their director Kristy Reed and her husband Doug! It is hard to put into words the fun and beautiful music making we had on this trip!
We have to thank our MCI representatives and our guide Héctor Castillo Alonso and our wonderful driver Chippi for making this trip more than a tour, but a learning and cultural experience. You could se by there attention to details that they loved making us happy! And for that we thank you! I also have to thank my wonderful wife Ellen. She worked so hard to make sure that we new about rehearsals, music , Itinerary updates and every detail. She worked closely with MCI and kept the tour members informed! Kris Fuller you are awesome my friend! Thank you for teaching us the Spanish and being our interpreter all week long. Kristy Reed thank you for playing for the ensemble and being just a great person to work with and allowing me to change the music schedule.
And next week we start CAVA (Capriccio Adult Vocal Academy). This Monday through Friday at Smoky Row Brethren church 6:30-9:00pm. You can still register at the door. It's going to be a fantastic week! Come work on your choral skills!
