Irazú Vocano is the highest volcano in Costa Rica. It is a spot that you cannot miss while visiting the country.
Taking a tour to this volcano is easy and fun!
Follow this recommendations for an amazing one day tour to this National Park:
1) Take the bus from San José, in front of the National Theater. The bus takes off at 8:00 a.m and arrives to the park around 10:00 a.m.
2) Explore and enjoy the area for about two hours.
3) Take the bus at 12:30 p.m and drop off at Cartago city. Enjoy the view while in the bus!
4) Explore Cartago city. You can walk to the Central market and have lunch there. Also, you can visit: "Las Ruinas de Cartago" and "La Basílica de Los Ángeles".
5) Take the train back to San José. There is a stop close to the church. The train leaves this stop at 4:00 p.m.
Bring your coat, umbrella and confortable shoes.
