With the school year starting to wind down look ahead to what's in store for next year!

A high school exchange is a great way to share and explore the culture of Costa Rica by hosting and/or traveling. Make a lasting friendship and learn more about the world through first hand experience.

Join us for an info meeting on Monday at bit.ly/CRsummerexchange to see how you can get involved in 2027.

Any US high school student can participate in the exchange, but if you attend Edgerton, Verona, WI Dells, Menomonee Falls, Port Washington or Lexington HS in Ohio you'll have the opportunity to host a CR student as well as travel to CR. 😀

We've hosted the University of Minnesota Twin Cities for 10+ years on their yearly Pura Vida tour that allows multiple degree programs to work together on a project to impact local NGOs and organizations. Check out what they did this year:

The Costa Rican exchange Jan. 15-29 is starting soon and we are still in need of hosts for male exchange students. If you live in those areas please consider opening your home and sharing your culture. For these students it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel and share their culture as well as experience US culture.

If you attend Slinger, Kettle Moraine Lutheran, Grafton, Barrington, Stoughton, Monona Grove or New Prague schools this is your opportunity to host a student from Costa Rica!

We're still looking for families so please join us at the final host family info meeting tomorrow (Wednesday) at 7:30pm via the link on bit.ly/hostingexchange

Host families provide transportation to/from school, room/meals, and have an interest to share their culture and learn about Costa Rican culture. No Spanish is required (however super beneficial for host students that are taking Spanish).

PS: Not only can you host, but you could also exchange back to Costa Rica in the summer!

Costa Rican high school students will visit Barrington, New Prague, Monona Grove, Stoughton, Grafton, Slinger and Kettle Moraine Lutheran schools and communities Jan. 14-28th and be hosted by local families.

Host families provide:
-Bedroom (shared or private)
-Meals
-Transportation to/from school

Two weeks in your home, forever in your heart!

Costa Rican high school students will visit Barrington, New Prague, Monona Grove, Stoughton, Grafton, Slinger and Kettle Moraine Lutheran high school Jan. 14-28th and be hosted by local students and families.

Host families provide:
-Bedroom (shared or private)
-Meals
-Transportation to/from high school

Exchange students are 14-17 years old and are a great way to learn about another culture as well as share yours. Any family can host, however the experience is especially valuable for high school students, especially if taking Spanish.
