Another one!!
Roosterfish are a TOP priority and target species on our kayak fishing trips in Costa Rica. These amazing fish put up a great fight at any size and dress to impress every day of the week. Getting one on a topwater lure while out before sunrise is an exhilarating experience, though we will take one any way we can. Have you ever caught one?

Come fishing with us in Costa Rica, never know what will bite!
This awesome Broomtail Grouper was the fish of the day, took a Shimano Butterfly flat fall jig in 90 feet of water and put up an amazing fight on light tackle. What are you waiting for, come get one!

Jigging in Costa Rica

Few things beat a topwater bite...
This awesome Rooster was the target species of the day for Nick. He wanted to catch one on a topwater and did he ever do that. As always, released to fight another day, but this thing put up an epic 20 minute fight. Hit a Yo Zuri 90mm popper in 50 feet of water off the coast of Santa Teresa. Have you ever caught one?

Nothing like a birthday fishing trip.
Our good friend Josh came down on a surprise visit from Florida to see what sort of fish he could wrangle up for his birthday. This was one of a few great catches he managed to pull off with us doing some kayak fishing. Good job buddy, and happy B day from all of us in Costa Rica!

Inshore fishing hss finally started picking up and the past week has yielded some decent days. These fun sized Roosters are a blast on light tackle, especially out of the kayak. Have you ever caught one? Let's get out there and get after it!

Ever heard of a Green Bar Snapper? These exotic fish live in the coastal reefs on the Pacific side of Central America and are prized for their hard fights, dirty tactics and at a smaller size make excellent table fare. These fish will take jigs, cut bait, live bait and if you are lucky, even hit a popper! A brutal hit and initial runs with lots of head shakes, and if you aren't ready for battle they will break you off in the reef.
