This morning we headed out to sea for a fishing trip. The rain, strong winds, and rough conditions— which are unusual for this time of year—didn’t make things easy. Even so, we managed to catch a few bonito, yellowfin tuna, and a nice almaco jack.

Today we had an excellent morning of fishing. Even though we left the dock a bit late, once we reached the fishing spots the jigging was very productive. In a short amount of time, we landed 8 yellowtail snappers and 2 red snappers. Since the clients were mainly looking for some action and a couple of fish for dinner, they decided to finish the day early and head back home.

The day started with a beautiful rainbow. At the end of the rainbow, we didn’t find gold—but we did find yellowfin tunas(3), 1 wahoo, 1 almaco jack, and snappers, including 1 yellowtail snapper and 1 red snapper. By 11:00 a.m., the fishing was already done, so the clients decided to head back early—another highly successful day on the water.

We had another great day of fishing today. We had multiple yellowfin tuna bites, plus a wahoo that managed to shake off the hook right next to the boat, and a mahi that freed itself after a few jumps. The fishing was a lot of fun, my clients kept five tuna to take home.😋

This morning we kicked things off with some trolling and landed a beautiful mahi-mahi 🎣. After that, we switched techniques and started casting topwater lures. The barracudas were on fire — nonstop action with strikes happening right next to the boat! 🔥⚡️
We hooked at least 10 and brought 5 all the way in. What an exciting day out on the water! 🌊🚤

The day started a bit slow, with no strikes on our trolling lures. So we switched from trolling to jigging—and that’s when the action picked up. We brought in a couple of Almaco jacks, plenty of green jacks, a red snapper, a spotted snapper, 1 jack crevelle, 1 bluefin trevally, some bonitos, a beautiful rainbow runner, and even a roosterfish.

Even though the trolling bite was slow today — only two yellowfin tuna struck — the jigging made up for it with solid action. We landed one African pompano, two jack crevalles, 4 green jacks and three almaco jacks.

Today we enjoyed another fun day of fishing with much better weather than yesterday. We caught yellowfin tuna, bluefin trevally, barracuda, and yellowtail snapper. We even had a mahi-mahi on the line, but after a few jumps it managed to break free.
