Ostrog Monastery is the most popular pilgrimage place in Montenegro. It is situated against an almost vertical background, high up in the large rock of Ostroška Greda, in Montenegro. It is dedicated to Saint Basil of Ostrog (Sveti Vasilije Ostroški), who was buried here. It is traditional for pilgrims to walk the 3 km from the lower monastery to the upper monastery barefoot.
This place is special in many ways and is definitely worth a visit!

I could write you a few historical facts about the Petrovaradin Fortress... But we'll leave that for another time. 😁
In the last twenty years, this fortress has become most famous for the music festival held here every July. It is the EXIT FESTIVAL, a multi-award-winning international summer music festival where the biggest names in the global music scene have performed!
And yes, if you ask me, you should visit it!! 😃
