The 300 kilometer one-day tour of Eastern Serbia will reveal the exceptional geographical and cultural diversity of Serbia. You will ride along the right bank of the Danube, the biggest European river, to Smederevo and the Smederevo fortification, which was once the medieval Serbian capital. After Požarevac and Petrovac na Mlavi, you will meet the true magic of Eastern Serbia which besides the Negotin’s wine and renowned Kučaj cheese endowed the world culture with the vampire myths. The almost forgotten roads through pristine nature will reveal the Homolj mountains and the monastery Vitovnica, as well as the mountain North Kučaj where you will visit Ceremošnja, one of the most beautiful Serbian caves. After this, you will ride down to the Danube’s widest point, to the medieval city, the fortress of Golubac, which still guards the entrance to the world renowned Djerdap Gorge. You will receive a break and refreshment on the banks of Lake Srebrno and after Smederevo, cross the Danube to the left side into Vojvodina, which you will only “touch” by visiting the city of Pančevo.
