Vranje Greeters is a not-for-profit organization that matches worldwide visitors with friendly people from Vranje who are happy to share the city they love. All Greeters are volunteers – they are not paid professional tour guides. During a visit, your Greeter will spend two to four hours with you, introducing you to life in the city as it is experienced by people from Vranje. Greeters come from va

ried backgrounds and can welcome visitors in over 5 languages. Greeters and visitors are paired according to language, neighborhoods requested, and interests, whenever possible. Vranje Greeters is proud to provide its services free of charge. Vranje Greeters welcomes all visitors without regard to race, color, creed, gender, age, sexual orientation, country of origin, marital status, or disability.

We are a group of local volunteers from Vranje, Serbia, and we are excited to show you our city. If you or some of your friend will be traveling to Vranje, we invite you to request a Greeter to take a walk around the city, get a coffee, or just chat with a local to learn a little bit more about our city, what to do, and why we love it.

Greeters can help and explain how to get around the city and visit important sites, provide recommendations for things to do and places to eat, and keep you up to date with what’s currently happening in the city. Most importantly, Greeters serve as a friendly face to welcome you and provide local expertise on what not to miss during your time here.
