I have been told that the news is late here. The Catalan meal schedule drives me nuts. I need my sleep and work better early. On the other hand, I get into most restaurants without a reservation, because who in their right minds would lunch before half past one? On the other hand, the mid afternoon break is murder on the figure.

Thinking of moving to Spain? It is still quite possible, but there are rules. Spain is one of the easier countries to move to as an expat (and why would anyone want to do that?), but it is not something you can do on your own. You need an attorney.
I recommend Hugo Navarette, who steered me though the Spanish and Catalan processes, from saving me from the wiles of an unscrupulous real estate agent to setting up a bank account and finding a flat with relative ease. (Relative is the key word. It can be challenging.)
