We’re so excited to welcome Florence Goupil as our local photographer for our Peru journey next May. 🤍

A French-Peruvian documentary photographer and National Geographic Explorer, Florence has spent years documenting the people, cultures, and landscapes of Peru and Latin America, with a particular focus on Indigenous communities, identity, and human connection.

Having Florence guide us through Peru, a place so deeply connected to her own heritage and work, feels incredibly special. We can’t wait to photograph, explore, and experience this extraordinary country through her eyes.

PERU IS HERE. We have been dreaming of this trip for a few years and are so happy to finally make it happen! We’ll spend the week in Cusco + Sacred Valley where wander colorful markets and mountain villages, photograph ancient landscapes, visit local artists, create with a Peruvian designer and model, learn the beautiful tradition of natural dyeing with a women’s co-op, and lots more adventures …May 31–June 6, 2027 | Payment plans available. Save the date, New York 🍎 our next one day photo tour will be Saturday, July 18th / 10-6 PM ! We’ll start the morning at the Lomography headquarters where we’ll test out new cameras, workshop double exposures, and get some film to try out for the day. After a group lunch, we’ll head to Coney Island for a photo walk through the bustling boardwalk and colorful beach. Expect guidance on capturing beach intimacy, approaching subjects, improvised portraiture, composition, and color scheming. End the day with a swim and an optional happy hour! the trip will be led by one of our brilliant leaders Erica Reade 📸 DM for sign up + info all photos by Erica Reade —

“I was drawn to the way things stacked, clashed, rested, waited. Bright tarps, intricate doors, textile piles, animals sleeping, people mid-task. Things that felt active, crowded, and alive in the same way the place did.
I tried to photograph from inside that feeling—the push and pull between order and chaos—leaning into tight compositions, competing colors, and movement that spills past the edges of the frame. 🌀 Who’s coming to Mallorca with us ?! we are planning up a dreamy new trip to this magical island in the Mediterranean, October 22-28th — a creative week filled with photo walks, ocean swims, artisan studio visits, yummy food, nature hikes, and photo shoots. The trip will be led by founder with as our guest photographer ! You don’t need to be a professional photographer in any sense, just an openness to create and experiment with a group of women for the week.
