The Museum showcases the struggle both locally and nationally throughout the beginning of the Cuban Revolution in the 1950’s and has some compelling photography for all to see.

Have you gotten questions from pax about whether they can bring rum & ci**rs back to (or through) the US? Well they can't.
But there is a lot of misinformation, so I am giving you the source so you never have to doubt it.
What's the penalty? Se van a la basura.

Excerpt from Office of Foreign Assets Control Cuba FAQ:
718. Are there any CACR restrictions on what foreign persons entering the United States from travel that included Cuba may bring in their accompanied baggage?
Answer
A non-U.S. person (i.e., not a U.S. citizen or resident) arriving in the United States is authorized to import Cuban-origin merchandise as accompanied baggage provided the merchandise is not in commercial quantities, is not imported for resale, and does not include Cuban-origin alcohol or to***co products. See 31 CFR § 515.569.
719. Can I purchase Cuban-origin ci**rs and/or Cuban-origin rum or other alcohol while traveling in Cuba?
Answer
Persons authorized to travel to Cuba may purchase alcohol and to***co products while in Cuba for personal consumption in Cuba. Please note that effective September 24, 2020, authorized travelers may no longer return to the United States with alcohol and/or to***co products acquired in Cuba as accompanied baggage for personal use.
From the E- Federal Code of Regulations
§ 515.544 Certain gifts sent to the United States.
The importation into the United States of merchandise from Cuba or Cuban-origin merchandise from a third country intended as gifts is authorized, provided that the value of the merchandise is not more than $100; the merchandise is of a type and in quantities normally given as gifts between individuals; the merchandise is sent and not carried by a traveler (including as accompanied or unaccompanied baggage); and the merchandise is not alcohol or to***co products.

📰Last week, Cuba announced 75 measures aimed at alleviating the economic crisis. One the biggest changes is that the government will begin selling foreign currency, including USD, which will likely affect the black market exchange rates. Also the government will allow foreign investment in small and medium sized private sector businesses. We hope lead to another exciting wave of entrepreneurial activity! ⁠
