The Christ of Havana is a large sculpture representing Jesus of Nazareth that was commissioned in 1953. Cuban sculptor Jilma Madera won the commission for the sculpture which can be found in the Havana suburb of Casablanca. Be sure to add it to your list of sights while touring Havana.

When visiting Cuba, be sure to drop by Havana Forest. You’ll happen upon the elephant in the forest. There are tons of awesome hidden gems you can explore when visiting Havana. Definitely search this one out!

to seeing in Havana back in October 2015. The concert was part of a music festival called Les voix humaines (Human Voices), organized and sponsored by Cuban maestro, Leo Brouwer in partnership with the US Embassy. These guys were awesome! The best part was being asked to tour them around Havana. 🇨🇺👍

Paseo del Prado is a street that divides Centro Havana from Old Havana. It starts beside Parque Central and ends at El Malecon. When exploring Havana, you'll be checking out El Capitolio, Parque Central, the Gran Teatro de la Habana Alicia Alfonso then Old Havana and El Malecon. Let Paseo del Prado transport you from one mecca to another. 🇨🇺✈👍
