Playas del Este - located just 18 kilometers east of Havana. This area, unlike Varadero or Cancun, has not witnessed the real estate development typical of such a striking coastal area; but despite this it is a popular tourist destination, since during the summer the people of Havana gather here to enjoy splendid days of sun and beach with turquoise waters and soft white sands.

Who doesn't want to escape the dreary autumn weather in the northern hemisphere?

Havana's Chinatown is located in the municipality of Centro Habana, just a 5 minute walk from making up one of the oldest and largest Chinatowns in Latin America. It came to be considered the second largest in the world, after San Francisco in California, United States.

Its small grocery stores and restaurants had their origin in the accumulation of money that their owners made during their years as contract workers. The first Chinese-owned businesses were opened in 1858.

Today it is probably the Chinatown with the fewest Chinese in the world.
