“Exotic Morocco by Marcin Majda” Marcin is an amature photographer. Now retired, he enjoys traveling to photograph people in their natural environment, capture their daily activities, document the way they live, work and interact with each other. He has attended Paris 2025 & Morocco 2025 Storyteller Workshops.

“Transportation by Jim Ludwick” My focus as a street photographer was how people and goods moved around in the southern part of Morocco. In the cities, motorcycles become the dominant means of basic transportation along with a small bus system. In the rural areas, bicycles enter the picture in a larger proportion. In both areas, the motorcycle truck is the most frequent vehicle for transporting goods. Vehicles adapt to small streets and rough terrain. I’ve done several Storyteller Workshops—Solstice 2023, Paris 2024, Provence 2024 & Morocco South 2025 & looking forward to Morocco North 2026.”—Jim Ludwick

Jason Ryan is a student of photography based out of Santa Cruz on his second Storyteller Photography Workshop (Paris & Morocco). His passion encompasses nature, science, culture, and revealing the art that binds them together. His images reflect the theme of “Auras of Morocco” in DSLR 35mm format.

“Magical Morocco” by Fred Deheuwer 📸🇲🇦
Fred is a beginner photographer based in Brussels, Belgium. This was his second Storyteller Workshop—after Paris, and most recently Morocco—and it has played an important role in his learning journey. Through Gail and Dotan’s guidance, thoughtful feedback, and their way of encouraging deeper attention to the stories around us, his photography has evolved significantly.

His project *Magical Morocco* was especially meaningful, helping him explore new ways of observing people, light, color, and fleeting moments. He is deeply grateful for the support and for the opportunity to learn in such inspiring environments, and he is very much looking forward to taking part in the next Storyteller Workshop in Alaska in 2026.

“Moments of light” by David Ryan. David Ryan is a San Diego-based photographer on his second Storyteller Workshop (Paris 2025 and Morocco). His passion encompasses many genres of photography, but especially travel and wildlife. In the Morocco Workshop his theme was based on capturing special Moments of light, composition and expression all working to tell the story of the feeling of the scene at the moment the shutter is released.
