The Sauto Theater was inaugurated on April 6, 1863, in the city of Matanzas. It is one of Cuba's three classic coliseums and a National Monument since 1978.
Designed by Italian architect Diego Dell Aglio, it seats 775 spectators and has a round stage that, when raised, transforms the auditorium into a ballroom.

Punta de Maisí Lighthouse. Located at the easternmost tip of the island of Cuba, in the province of Guantánamo. It was inaugurated in 1862 under the name Faro de Co**ha in honor of the military governor and Captain General of Cuba, José Gutiérrez de la Co**ha. The construction was ordered by Queen María Isabel Luisa de Borbón of Spain in 1856.
The tower stands 121.9 feet tall. The lighthouse emits one flash every 5 seconds, at a distance of 37 nautical miles.
