Update :-
Do you remember we bumped into champion Fogo based race jockey Jomillson back in March exercising his horse, grey mare ‘Flame’ with stallion ‘Neymar’ swimming in Santa Maria bay ? His trip to Sal was a breeding mission.
Well, we are very pleased to share with you that Flame is indeed in foal and the patter of little hooves will be heard in early spring.
Congratulations to all 🐎❤️🥳
We will keep you all posted and cannot wait to see the new addition 👌

A repost and update for those interested.

“Yes, there are plans to rebuild the Santa Maria Pier in Sal, Cape Verde. The project is estimated to cost 480,000€ and is funded by the World Bank. The new pier will be 120 meters long, a significant increase from the previous 50-meter length. The rebuild includes amenities like bench seats, shade frames, a cafe, boat and water sports access, toilets, and an electric winch. The project is expected to be completed in two years. “
