The villa is situated on the outskirts of the small village of Edremit (5 minutes walk) which has a small grocery shop, church,
restaurants,basket and pottery shop, bar, children’s play area and is 5 minutes by car from Kyrenia which has many restaurants,
shops and supermarkets.

You are only 5 minutes by car from the beach and within an hour of deserted beaches some of which must be the most beautiful on the island. For those that like walking and climbing the position of the villa lends itself as a perfect starting point for exploring the countryside.

About Kyrenia (The area)

Northern Cyprus is arguably the Mediterranean’s best kept secret. With its fantastic sandy beaches, clear seas, sunny climate all year round, historic sites and laid-back pace of life it is one of Europe’s finest getaways. All of this comes with wallet-friendly prices. Northern Cyprus is out of the Euro zone and so your pound goes a lot further. The pretty harbour of Kyrenia has more than 300 restaurants and tavernas offering local food.There are also great shops and markets but the Islands real secret is its scenery. It is like the Mediterranean resorts were 30 years ago -unspoiled and idyllic.

About Edremit (the village)

Edremit is a small village located half way up the hill on the road up to the mountainside village of Karmi/Karaman. It has a small grocery store where daily produce can be bought. The larger village of Karaoglanoglu is approx 1 mile down the hill with supermarkets, restaurants and sandy beaches.
