All flights in and out of Cyprus operating normally.

The Cyprus Government Foreign Minister Mr. Nicos Christodoulides, has reiterated previous statements made by government spokesperson Mr. Prodromos Prodromou, that Cyprus, a full EU country member, is in in no way involved, nor is it being asked to make any contribution to any operation, concluding that there is no security risk for Cyprus, from the situation unfolding in the Eastern Mediterranean.

This position has been further reinforced by an official Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), issued by the Cyprus Civil Aviation Authority, according to which all necessary actions are been taken for the safety of flights. The CCAA continuously monitors developments in the area and shall be informing the international aviation community, accordingly.

According to the CCAA and the Cyprus Airports operator company, Hermes Airports, all flights in and out of Cyprus operate normally.

The Cyprus government is monitoring closely the situation, in contact with EU and other partners, including the UK Foreign Office.
