The EureWelcome label recognises efforts to be accessible and welcoming, as well as to meet the needs of all visitors, including visitors with disabilities, the elderly or families with children. It can be found in tourist attractions, public establishments or events. The label is awarded by the General Directorate of Tourism of the Ministry of Economy in collaboration with the national Info-Handicap service.

We were delighted to be invited to take part in the recent virtual workshop hosted by the Aviation Accessibility Implementation Group (AAIG) on 9 April.

As a specialist tour operator in the accessible travel sector, it was incredibly encouraging to be involved in such an important conversation and to see the real momentum behind improving accessibility across aviation.

The session provided an insightful update on the progress being made as the Group begins to implement and test the 19 recommendations from the Task and Finish Group. Key focus areas included training, communication, mobility aids handling, tailored passenger experiences, and support for those with non-visible impairments.

It was particularly positive to see the recognition of the vital role travel agents play in supporting customers—ensuring the right assistance is arranged and that clear, accurate information is provided throughout the journey.

We welcomed the opportunity to share our practical, real-world insights and contribute to shaping the next phase of this important work.

Overall, we came away feeling genuinely excited and optimistic about what’s ahead. There is clear commitment, collaboration, and progress—and we’re proud to be part of the journey towards a more inclusive and accessible aviation experience for all.
