In places like this one, is where we have the chance to remind to ourselves that life is a miracle.
That nature is full of miracles.
Some of them, need time, patience, a combination of elements, conditions and consistency to be created and transformed in their present form.
Exactly like each life form that ever existed on this planet, as every human being was created, every human relation, each human idea, each human creation and collaboration.
Nature is full of miracles, which can be lessons, reflections, symbolic patterns and guidance.
Water, such a miraculous element, it flows, it changes forms and transforms into waves, ice, snow, stalactites.... and reflects through the creation of those forms that life can be created and transformed in the most unexpected, unimaginable, breathtaking ways!
So every time you feel like you want to give up on life dear friend, look around you and remember that life does not give up on you. It just changes, transforms and recreates, just like you!
Keep trusting those changes, keep welcoming your transformation, keep trusting life and your own miraculous Self!
CASTELLANA GROTTE:
❄ 3.348 meters long,
❄maximum depth 122m below street level,
❄temperature 16,5°C.
❄Located on the south-eastern limestone plateau “Murge” , which began to form during the upper Cretaceous about 90 – 100 million years ago.
❄ The creation of stalactite: "Once it reaches the voids of the caverns, the water droplet, falling to the ground, leaves a deposit of calcium carbonate, either on the vault or on the floor, which respectively allows the growth of the stalactites, the formations that hang from the ceiling, and of the underlying stalagmites. Over time, the progressive growth of a stalactite and stalagmite will lead to their union and the formation of a column."
❄ In addition to these common forms, there are many other types of drip-stones, such as flow-stones and curtains, forming due to the flow of water, coralloids and pond crystals, generated in an underwater environment and, finally, helictites, which challenge the law of gravity, and cave pearls, successive layers of calcite originating around a microscopic grain of rock.
