WATER CUTS CANCELLED!🚰

Good news: even though reservoir levels are low, there won’t be any water cutoffs in homes this summer. That’s all thanks to new desalination units brought in from the UAE.

❓What is known about them?
🚰 Three units started operating early last week.
🚰 Another nine will be connected to the water supply network soon.

❓Where are they located?
🚰 The new units are based in the Limassol and Paphos regions, but they’ll produce enough water to supply the whole country.
🚰 On top of that, two more units will launch in Limassol by the end of the year. Each one is capable of producing 10,000 cubic meters of water per day.

These installations mean there’s no need for water cuts. However, residents are still encouraged to use water wisely 🙏
