2018 will be an EU China Tourism Year. The European Commission is working in close cooperation and preparing it with China National Tourism Administration. The purpose is to show the services provided by the European Union to Chinese tourists by supporting various cooperative marketing activities. The European Association, which represents travel and tourism, will work with the leading partners in European, Chinese and international companies.

This time, Cyprus Tourism Organization and Ayia Napa municipality came into Guangzhou together, opened the door of friendship between these two countries, and actively promoted the EU China Tourism Year, to realize the bilateral cooperation between these two tourism cities, and lead Guangdong tourism industry to enter Cyprus, Europe.

3月1日下午，由塞浦路斯国家旅游局主办、塞浦路斯阿依纳帕市政厅协办、塞浦路斯广东商会承办，以旅游、文化、体育、教育资源共享为主题的“塞浦路斯国家资源”新闻发布会在商会源创空间举行。
中华人民共和国驻塞浦路斯大使馆前大使赵亚力、广州市外事办领导、塞浦路斯阿依纳帕市政厅文化署署长Maria Tofini Tsantila、塞浦路斯KYTV旅游公司总经理Mamas Charalambous、塞浦路斯广东商会会长杨德明，本次活动由卡塔尔航空、景程乔瓦尼控股赞助，由国际商企的领导嘉宾以及《国际商报》、BusinessLink等知名媒体及几十家广州市知名旅游公司朋友参加了会议。
本次发布会旨在加强中塞两国经济、文化、旅游等多方面合作。发布会现场，中华人民共和国驻塞浦路斯大使馆前大使赵亚力、塞浦路斯阿依纳帕市政厅文化署署长Maria就塞浦路斯国家资源等方面分别进行了主旨演讲。内容包括中塞国际关系、塞浦路斯各类项目资源，以及中塞各领域合作现状等，并以塞浦路斯阿依纳帕市为重点，深入解读其旅游、文化领域的相关政策、资源以及项目。

承办方塞浦路斯广东商会还于发布会期间设置了交流环节，提高发布会的成效以及合作深度和广度。
最棒的是会上国家商务部机关报《国际商报》广东记者站与塞浦路斯KYTV旅游公司签订战略合作，共同宣传、促进两国商务经贸、旅游方面的多方面交流合作。南方传媒国旅与KYTY旅游公司签订了地接合作合同！
