Brno that disappeared.

On May 10 at 18:30, I’m organizing a special historical evening walk through the old town — following the traces of the German and Jewish Brno that existed here for centuries before WWII.

We will walk through the former Schlossergasse and surrounding streets, visit the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, St. Michael’s Church, and St. James Church, while exploring the forgotten layers of the city’s past.

This is not a dry lecture with endless dates.
It’s an atmospheric journey through:

— stories of families and survival
— vanished streets and names
— wartime memories
— how the city changed after 1945
