My new book is finally out!

After more than twenty years of research, over 50 interviews with Terezín survivors, and years of returning to the same testimonies,
Fredy Hirsch and the Last German Knights is now available.

This work follows an untold journey from Nazi-occupied Prague through Terezín to Auschwitz-Birkenau —
and brings forward a figure whose legacy was often diminished, yet whose influence shaped an entire generation.

It is not only a historical novel, but an attempt to capture the complexity of human decisions under extreme conditions — beyond simplified narratives of the Holocaust.
