The Mezipatra q***r film festival is fast approaching and will this year take place in Prague between 2 and 9 November. The festival will introduce around a hundred Czech and foreign films centred around LGBTQ+ issues, and their creators, and is not to be missed.

One of the cultural highlights of the year, The Signal Festival, returns to Prague next month between 12 and 15 October for its 11th edition. During the four-day festival many of the capital's most famous squares and monuments are illuminated in strange and fabulous ways. It is not to be missed.

This month's quiz at Saints bar will take place on Sunday 24th September and be hosted by Matt and quizmaster virgin Thomas. They promise a quiz like none you have seen before!

Here are the rounds:

1) Revenge of the polymaths
2) James T. Skywalker and the Blade-wars
3) Homoerotica in heavy metal
4) There's more to Germany than meets the eye
5) Not all animals are cuddly, some can be rubbery

There will also be a bonus round.

The fun starts at 7.30pm. Entry is limited to 4 persons per team and costs 50 crowns per person. The winning team will receive all the money.

The 13th annual Prague pride kicks off tomorrow with a host of events throughout the week until Sunday. For more details and a programme click here: https://www.praguepride.cz/en/. We will also be hosting a Rainbow shots party in Saints on Friday evening and a special quiz at 6pm on the Sunday. All are welcome. Have a great pride!

Prague Pride 2022 is just around the corner and will culminate in the first parade for 3 years on August 13th. We are all super looking forward to it. The organisers are revealing the programme for the week-long festival bit by bit and you can read about that here: https://festival.praguepride.com/en/programme/.
